Description
The energetic city of Guangzhou is one of China’s most successful boom-towns, but Guangzhou has been on the map long before it was the heart of international flights. The capital of Guangdong province, Guangzhou is full of temples, tombs and parks, all ripe for exploration. Begin your four-day tour through Guangzhou at Yexui Park, China’s largest urban park. Your day includes a stop at the exquisitely decorated Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, where everyone with the popular surname Chen can pay tribute to their ancestors. A tour of the city would not be complete without a trip to Shamian Island. Once reserved for French and British colonists, Shamian’s sophisticated colonial streets are instant escape from the bustle of downtown Guangzhou. In the evening, be sure to sample some of the fresh Cantonese cuisine, seafood dishes and dim sum dumplings are local specialties. On the next day, your whirl-wind tour of Guangzhou’s rich history continues at the Temple of Six Banyan Trees and the Nanyue Tomb, two ancient structures that recall Guangzhou’s classical past. Finish off your trip by looking towards the city’s future with a visit to Guangzhou’s New Town, a modern commercial center.

Itinerary
This private tour allows you to take in the sights of Guangzhou over the course of four days. Private transportation and three-star accommodation is provided throughout the tour. Breakfast is provided on Day 2 through Day 4 and lunch is provided on days 2 and 3.
